At Plantman, we strive to deliver healthy and high-quality live plants to our customers. However, due to the perishable and live nature of plants, we have a limited refund and return policy. This policy is designed to balance customer satisfaction with the practical challenges of shipping live plants.

1. Eligibility for Returns

Returns or replacements are accepted only in the following cases:

  • The plant arrives dead or in a severely damaged condition upon delivery.
  • The product received is materially different from what was ordered due to our error (wrong plant variety or wrong quantity).

Returns are NOT accepted in these cases:

  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Minor natural variations in size, color, shape, or growth stage (as plants are living products)
  • Damage to the plant after delivery due to improper handling, unsuitable weather, or incorrect planting/care by the customer
  • Delayed delivery caused by courier partner (Shiprocket) or external factors

2. Timeframe for Reporting Issues

You must report any issue within 48 hours of receiving the delivery. Claims made after 48 hours will not be entertained.

3. How to Initiate a Return or Replacement

To request a return or replacement:

  1. Contact us immediately at info@plantman.co.in with your Order ID.
  2. Provide clear photographs and/or short videos showing the condition of the plant upon delivery.
  3. Mention the specific issue (dead plant, severe damage, or wrong item).

We will review your claim within 48–72 hours. If the claim is approved, we will arrange for a replacement (subject to stock availability) or issue a refund.

4. Refund Process

  • If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method.
  • Refunds usually take 7 to 10 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment gateway.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped).
  • In case of approved returns, the customer is responsible for returning the product in its original packaging (if possible). Return shipping charges may apply unless otherwise specified.

5. Cancellations

  • You may cancel your order only before it is dispatched.
  • Once the order is handed over to Shiprocket for shipping, cancellation is not possible. You will need to follow the return process mentioned above if eligible.

6. Conditions for Refund Approval

  • The plant must be returned in the same condition as received (for physical returns, if required).
  • Photographic evidence must clearly show the issue and must be taken immediately upon delivery.
  • We reserve the right to inspect the evidence and make the final decision on approval.

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are generally non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Customized or special order plants
  • Gardening accessories, pots, fertilizers, and tools (unless defective due to our error)
  • Any product marked as “Non-Returnable” on the product page

8. Compliance with Law

We fully comply with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. All refund and return requests are handled fairly and transparently.
